    i remember several ball players (Jose Canseco comes to mind) who were compared to Michael Jackson by the punch line “they both wear a glove on one hand for no reason.”

    I remember this; it was the beginning of a crusade by Mrs. Jones to make her son more “normal” by making him a fan of MJ. Had she been able to see just a few years into the future, she might have reconsidered.
