That was not a good sight for the little guy,My little guy, Toby, is spending the night at the hospital, wish him luck. Sure is weird being here with him gone. Can’t sleep.

Looks like Cuddles invited all his friends over for a koi cook out. All that’s left now is just the pond.

Sorry to report that Toby aka “the little guy” didn’t make it. He went the that big doggy run in the sky at 8:30 this morning. Thank you all for your care and concern. It means a lot to me. “The Big Guy” aka Skippy aka Toby’s wing man is walking around trying to figure out what’s wrong.As, I’m sure, all of you know – losing a pet SUCKS!!!

I’m so sorry. Losing a pet is awful. Skippy must be lost too. lots of hugs to you all.

I feel sad.

chefwen, some many years ago now, I had 3 dogs, 2 mutts (who we had for 17 years after we lost Susie) and our Yellow Lab Susie. When Susie passed, Teddy and Gallagher ran around our house for 3 days looking for her, didn’t eat. I knew they knew. And with our Charlie Girl, lab/beagle mix and our cat Hannah Bee, Charlie Girl laid in our living room and Hannah Bee stayed close by because she knew too what was happening. I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS! But I know that WE ALL who have had and continue to have our pets, our friends, part of our family, THAT WE GAVE THEM A GOOD LIFE AND A LOT OF LOVE! It never gets easy, and if we still have pets, we will go through this all over again, but I wouldn’t give it up for anything in the world, even though it HURTS LIKE HELL when we have to say goodbye!

chefwen, when you feel up to it, tell me more about Toby. I know you hear about everyone’s pet sooner or later, but this time is for you and Toby.

Has everyone gone to bed? I fell asleep after dinner and just woke up now.
