So Heart is carrying a shovel and getting safety goggles. Looks like she will help after all.

They’ll need a tamping device to pack the asphalt down. There were some people doing this in Detroit. I’m not sure if it was legal but no one was going to call the police on them (They called the TV station instead).

Across the river it is very illegal to do it. The city would come and dig it up and then have to refill it at 4x the cost of just reporting it. Too many times people over there do that instead of just phoning it in to PBOT.

Okay so they will be out in the streets after 1AM, I am pretty sure that this could end up with Heart and the gang getting cited for curfew violation but at least they will not get sent to Saturday detention for that.

heh i wonder if Steenz took inspiration from Rod Stewartand some friends doing the same thing a few months ago …although he did it because he was tired of his classic and high-performance cars getting messed up due to a decades-old pothole needless to say the neighbors were happy and the local council was "well that’s for the help but we don’t advise of making private road repairs a habit "

Ah! 10th & Catharine Street: The location of Dante & Luigi’s, Philly’s oldest Italian restaurant! This should be fun (but it is “Catharine” not “Catherine”—an easy mistake to make). I hope Steenz did a Google Street View of the intersection so that she can draw a reasonably accurate image of Dante & Luigi’s!

And whatever you do, don’t forget all the wigs in case we need disguises.
