I’ve always said that it’s not the social media platform, but who uses it and how they use it. Of course, much of it has been designed for the younger crowd. But forums like Tic Tok have just gone too overboard!

Forums like Tic Tok and Truth Social, don’t have to be just on those apps. They can be in print or on other digital forms. Facebook and YOUtube have been around for years.

Before there was Truth Social there was “Separate But Equal.”

It’s not guns, it’s mental health. Ban Tik ToK, ban guns. Seems logical. Actually, regulate guns, they cause more deaths than Tik Tok.

As one who was around when a singer from Mississippi with a silly name was deemed to be “the biggest threat to our children”, then a British band, then marijuana, then coke and its nastier cousins, et seq. nauseum, I’m somewhat inured to the “scourge of the week” vapours. That said, aside from those functionally disabled by drug abuse, I’ve never seen any single activity demand so much attention and focus from so many people. Even the ubiquitous TV never made such constant waking-time demands of so many.

I can’t wait for the ocular/cochlear implants to obsolete the need to hold a device in your hands. Will that make driving safer for the rest of us? Probably not. Just yesterday, I was sitting at a stoplight behind a small sedan with two “Please Be Patient – Student Driver” stickers on it. Its teen driver was furiously thumbing her device, oblivious to the fact that the light had changed ten seconds earlier. And that was the least dangerous example of ‘distracted driving’ I saw that day. The implants would allow both hands on the wheel, but would do nothing about distraction from the more important task.

    You misspelled “TikTok” there.

Does Truth Social have enough users (that isn’t journalists who wants to be the first to report you know who’s next tantrum) to be dangerous?

Tiktok has negatively benefited our community in a huge way and should get stopped, social media overall is fine, but tiktok is overboard.

Social media is a great thing to have, tiktok isn’t on the other hand and hopefully it gets banned.
