Ah, such is the way of the church …I didn’t say Christianity.

This “cold” of mine was actually diagnosed as Bronchitis and just won’t go away. I guess it just has to run its course. It’s just a looong course. I’m not as young as I used to be.

The ’toon above is actually pretty good. Too bad Roger Kettle is not still on the team.

Today our friend Nyuck Nyuck lost his beloved cat Johnny. When searching for just the right thing to say or post to him, it brought back my own recent loss of King George the second…he was the second because I had another basset hound whom I named King George, and since he was the second basset…you get the picture…its made me think of all the animals I hope to see, and people too…I cant seem to stop my eyes from dripping even though I know its silly…dont ever think someone else’s loss does not effect you, it can…and probably will…we try to be positive and upbeat here, but sometimes its hard and you want so much not to be sad, but there it is anyway…Six’s dad’s passing did much the same…I know its still fresh and will be for a long time, and even when the major part of the pain is gone, something out of the blue will put you right back there…something so simple as smelling the after shave Ron used to use, can stop me in my tracks…we deal with it yes, but our loved ones are always there in our hearts and minds…I dont know where I am going with this, but I do want you to know that your hurts and losses matter to each and every one of us…God Bless You All and Keep You Always in His Hands and Heart.

@EverybodyI hope we don’t turn this village or AC into a political forum. There are plenty sites for that purpose. Personally I have some very strong views on politics, religion, etc, but I come here to escape the ranting and raving.
