Cuddles was no cat, but a lovely bird – who loved to cuddle and gave very sweet kisses:This was in an Illinois botanical garden – in the winter She LOVED that climate.

Just the name Emperor Cuddles strikes fear in the hearts of all canines. Long may he reign!

And Cuddles was gorgeous! My neighbor used to have a really neat Cockatoo he named Peaches. She was awesome!

I hear you Stel and Perkycat. I have so many photos that I need to organize. I was really good at it for a few years. Now after filling about 6 albums over the years, the rest are in a big, and I mean big box! Some are labeled, I did try to keep up on that, but a lot aren’t and none of those are in albums!

THAT became my sisters job…

My last receiver was a Pioneer.

But I’ve always had Bose speakers.

Is that all you saw in that picture. As a bird lover, I’d like to see Tweetie put some distance between him and that darned cat.

I met an old childhood friend on the bus coming back from up north. It was nice to see him, but he talked non-stop for over an hour. I usually like to sleep on the bus, but I didn’t have the heart to tell him that. His sister is my best friend.

I’ll be going to bed soon enough, Shika. I give myself 20 more minutes.

Did you have a nice weekend?

Next weekend is DST. Loose an hour sleep – but gain an hour of night time daylight. I wish I could fast-forward to that. I’m really looking forward to it.

I really hate losing that hour Grog. but the longer evenings will be nice.

GoComics crashed on me. I just got back.

It was a great weekend. I listened to my latest shipment of new 60’s music which includes but is not limited to The McCoys, the Ronettes, The Seekers, The Who, Led Zeppelin and Johnny Rivers among others.

That sounds like a great weekend for you Grog.

You really enjoyed those years of music, didn’t you?

I really hate getting that hour back, Shika I don’t even like Texas winters. I don’t like winter, period.

Shika, those years were probably the best years as I enjoyed virtually all of the varieties and the changes going on at the time. I can’t say I will listen to all of it, but I can listen to more of it than I can of the decades to come. With each passing decade, I tend to like less and less.

I am almost always tuned in to The 60’s on 6 at the office through my satellite radio deal.

That often happens Grog. I’m glad you have such an interest in music from those early days. They were interesting times.

I think that it is time to sign off now Grog. Have a good sleep. It was nice talking to you again.

Yes, they were. And they had the people that could put into words and music in a way that will likely never be forgotten.

I’d likely like the sixties music too on radio. I must say that I don’t have a radio on while I am alone. I just like the quiet.

It’s nice talking to you again as well. Shika But Groggy is just as ready to sign off as you are.

Oddly enough, I don’t like complete quiet at night. I sleep with the radio on most of the time.

I’m in the minority I think, about liking to be quiet. It has to do with my being over-stimulated by competing noises and sounds. It is tiring for me to be in a place that distracts me visually or auditorily.When I do listen to music, that is all I do- nothing else.

I forgot to mention that I’m listening to the 40’s on 4 right now.

My mother’s carrying and bellowing voice would keep me awake. I always went to bed earlier than her. And my uncle would always call while I was in bed. My radio is only on loud enough to sooth and lull me to sleep – not keep me awake.

I had the pleasure of seeing Led Zeppelin’s DVD, Celebrarion Day. That has got to be one of the best live concerts on tape. If you like the band check it out
