My cat Macushla has to be bathed now and then because her fur is silky and if she’s not bathed it can get smelly and nasty. She doesn’t like getting bathed but after she’s dry and brushed out she seems happier.
My current cats stand in the sink and meow to have the faucet turned on. One insists on standing under the running water and slurping the runoff from his shoulder.
Stereotypes obviously don’t fit animals anymore than they do people, eh?

Cats have very sensitive skin, and getting it wet must feel horrible — Scotties have sensitive skin, too.
