I think he’s saying “Yes, you are thinking so hard about nothing!” The grammar doesn’t make sense otherwise, does it? Arlo has previously said that when a mother says she’s thinking about nothing, she’s really thinking about her kids. I’d bet he’s just acknowledging that.
People, let’s remember that these strips are submitted weeks in anticipation, frequently almost two months. In the last few months Jimmy Johnson has been very hard at work because of the book he just released (he’s in charge of all kinds of things that are typically handled by other people, including distribution… it’s crazy!). My point is: in the past he hinted at a December wedding. But he might have gotten his times messed up and didn’t realize he was already drawing the strips that would appear in December. So I believe now we will see him either executing an express wedding or simply making up a short story line that explains why the wedding was delayed.

It is J Johnson who should start thinking hard. For the past few weeks I’ve found this strip increasingly duller and unimaginative.
