Saute’ kale with a little olive oil and minced garlic, then sprinkle on a little sweet soy sauce and sea salt. Delish.

I was never sure if Phil was African-American or Italian-American. This is making me lean towards Italian.

There better be cheesecake too!

@Tedybgame, I think that Phil is African/Irish American. His aunt is June Ferguson. I recall Alix asking the question of why Mrs Ferguson looked different from Phil if they were related. She told her that she was more African and Phil got more of the Irish (I think) genes. When Alix asked how does that happen, Mrs. Ferguson wisely told her to go ask her mom. lol!

That may be the next trick. Now that they expect him to “say” he’s bringing kale, he really will bring kale.
