On one of our Boy Scout campouts, we had an awards ceremony in the woods in the dark. We had them line up in single file, and only the leader at the head of the line had a flashlight. Then we led them on a roundabout path to a clearing and had a very moving ceremony in the dark. We then gave them all their flashlights and they were very surprised that we were only about 15 feet away from the campsite. Lots of fun memories as an adult leader with the Boy Scouts.

Morning, Anniephans!When I was in Boy Scouts, I remember walking through the woods at night without a flashlight. Not a pleasant experience.
