The dreamers rarely win but they do have brief moments in the sun, before they are either shot down by the sceptics our the wax holding their wings together melts in the heat. But some will be remembered and their legacy will live on.
that is how man flies. Also, good wingsuit pilots can climb using thermals. man can indeed fly,can travel into outer space, can go miles under theocean.
I think “skeptic” and “cynic” are getting confused. A skeptic will withhold belief pending proof, that is all. It should be the “default” setting. There is a world pf difference between “It’ll never happen!” and “I’ll believe it when I see it!”.

The movie may have been mediocre, but the book, by Cervantes, was wonderful!

Along with the dreaming comes a lot of hard work, but it’s a labor of love.

Someone once said; “If man were to fly, he’d be given wings!” Fortunately, the Wright brothers saw things differently.

So you’re looking for an oxymoron rather than settling for a simple one?

Well, let’s not get carried away here. But then, one must dream and hope for the impossible. Miracles do happen!

You must be a one night stand up comedian, lol.
Good one.

You beat me to it … although I was going to use the original version, with “dreamer” and “live”.

How much progress would we have made without the dreamers?
