First of all it’s a comic just laugh and move on with your life. But being married I have experienced this often. What you may not understand is that he is already in trouble for not realizing she wanted some ice water and getting it for her without her asking. Yes she could get it herself but that would be pointless. BTW it has nothing to do with superiority it is just how women are. I’ve never asked someone to get me ice water who didn’t ask if I wanted some. Nearly 60 years being female, this still hasn’t occurred to me to do.
