Verne the turtle, R.J. the raccon, Hammy the squirrel. Anyone know the name of the mouse, or what “R.J.” stands for?

Seems Verne could have referred to his spleen or something a little less . . . ah . . . I dunno . . . what’s the word I’m looking for, folks?

It’s okay Verne, we’re good with it. If Katie Couric can show her colon on national morning television, why not a depressed turtle in a fantasy comic strip? Even if it does make RJ’s eyes pop out of their sockets for a frame.
