While a VFW VSO helped me first file my claim for disability, I can’t in conscience join the organization because you have to swear you believe in the “God of Abraham”. As a Buddhist, can’t really join. They ARE pretty right-wing in the membership, but not as bad as the American Legion (psycho “nationalists”).

DAV also supplies VSOs on a national basis, and do NOT require a religious test to join I strongly recommend folks needing help contact them.

REMF “guard” obviously needs some psychiatric help, but isn’t likely to seek it out, as he’s also obviously NOT “service connected”, well except maybe as a severe case of “blow hard”.

Wow, I haven’t been reading the comments here for a while, but I’m astounded by how many people continue to play chess with this pigeon. In case you haven’t noticed, “sarge” is prone to knocking over the pieces, crapping on the board, then strutting around like the next grandmaster. I kind of feel sorry for the guy.
