They still don’t get it! (sighs)

well, the strip is always about showing how low can the Skinners go.

So let guess that after paying all their creditors, Slim throws it away disgustedly. And then it turns out that the model is really valuable after all. For some reason.

That model is all your going to get Slim…get over it.

If they won a major prize, why couldn’t it have been a beautiful “leg lamp”?

They’ll figure it out when the car after the “free” car comes with a bill for the next model in the series.

That’s it. Poor guy.

They are thick…

Wow. Such bitterness. They are people who work hard (at least Clovia does.) If Clovia now and then grasps hopefully at a straw here and there, who can blame her? Life with Slim is no picnic (probably because he would eat all the food in the basket, on the way to the park.)

Ok, I’m not one of the main complainers of the comics but…how stupid can they get?

I think she’s supposed to have sandy or “dirty blond” hair.

They will not figure it out until Clovia calls them asking about the car and tells them that she is tired of walking and asks when they are going to get the car. And she will only understand when they tell her (after they stop laughing) that there never was a real car only a model. The real question is what about all the rides that are owed.

These two are really out to lunch…

Isn’t there any PAPERWORK in the carton? That would clear the mystery up immediately.
