Yeah they can walk at that age, so they can probably start running, I’m not sure but I’ll find out as certain babies I’ve gotten to know a bit get older.
Most babies walk between 12 & 14 months, some as young as 7-8 months, so running by 18 months is definitely possible. And they don’t have to run very fast, they just need a good headstart.
I had one who didn’t walk until 20 months, because he could crawl faster than most kids run.
