The church teaches forgiveness, even though homosexuality is, of course, a particularly egregious sin before God. Mark: Yeah, well, believe it or not, it wasn't always! For 1,000 years the church sanctioned rituals for homosexual marriages! Man; What? Mark: It's true. The Catholic church was... Man: Oh, well, sure, Catholics. They have a ritual for everything!
