Danae: Back to the dark ages to stop the religious fanaticism that delayed progress in science and technology by 1000 years. We could have had colonies on the moons of Saturn by now! Theoretically, everything will change in an instant and you won't know what happened by the time I get back: Joe: OK... have fu- Danae: Hi, I'm back! Joe: Back from where? Danae: It's a long story, Daddy...
Except that without religion, most all of the classic works of the Greek would have been lost, and many of the great advances in science would not have been made. The continual resurfacing of this myth is not refreshing.
