Snoopy and Charlie Brown walk along wearing matching shirts.<BR><BR> Patty walks along and calls out,"Hey, Charlie Brown!"<BR><BR> She stops in front of them and exclaims,"Gee, with shirts just alike, it's hard to tell you two apart!"<BR><BR> As Snoopy turns away glowering, Charlie Brown turns to him and exclaims,"All right, don't look so insulted!!"<BR><BR>
This seems to be the first time a running gag was used in the strip. A “story” lasting more than one day.
