" Violet has invited Schroeder over to her house, and Schroeder is sitting on a cushion saying, “I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR GIVING ME THIS OPPORTUNITY, VIOLET, BUT.. <br> <br> Schroeder is looking very nervous whileViolet is sitting in a chair watching him, she ask”WHAT’S THE MATTER? <br> <br> Schroeder is leaning over and says to Violet, “I CAN’T DO IT.. I’VE LOST MY NERVE.. <br> <br> Schroeder gets up and is putting on his coat saying, “I’M GOING HOME!” Violet is following him saying,”OH, COME ON SCHROEDER... MOTHER WON’T CARE..” <br> <br> Schroeder’s is saying to Violet, “WELL,.... IT’S NOT AS IF I’M GOING TO RUIN HER PIANO, IS IT?” Violet is pulling off his coat saying, “OF COURSE NOT.. NOW, COME ON.. <br> <br> Schroeder and Violet are standing and Schroeder says to Violet, “THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BIGGEST THRILL OF MY LIFE... <br> <br> A large piano is sitting in the room and Schroeder is sitting on a cushion with his small piano sitting on the piano stool of the large piano playing. The way she says “Mother,” rather than “My mother” or “your mother” makes me wonder…are they siblings? I don’t think it’s ever said, but has Schroeder ever been given a last name? Though Schroeder Gray doesn’t sound very nice.
