Charlie Brown walks up to Lucy, who is practicing her golf shots. He announces, "Well, I paid your entry fee, Lucy...But it sure emptied that ol' piggy bank.."<BR><BR> They look at each other. "I guess it's too late to back out now, isn't it?" she asks.<BR><BR> Charlie brown sits with his back against a tree as Lucy holds her golf club. She says, "I'm so nervous, Charlie Brown...I've never played in a gold tournament before.."<BR><BR> "What chance have I got against Sam Snead and Ben Hogan and 'Ike'?" He soothes her: "Son't be silly! This is a Women's tournament..Those guys don't play in women's tournaments!"<BR><BR> A voice announces, "LUCILLE VAN PELT ON THE FIRST TEE, PLEASE." Lucy gasps and clutches her chest.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown carries her bag. She says, "I feel like I'm walking the last mile.." "Don't worry...You're an unknown. Nobody will even be watching you..." he responds. A wooden sign points the way: 'To the First Tee'<BR><BR> Charlie Brown and Lucy stand amazed, staring at the legs of the adults who surround them.<BR><BR>
