Linus kneels on the floor and jumps up as he tosses a large ball in the air.<BR><BR> He sits back and smiles as he reaches towards the ball.<BR><BR> He jumps up as he hears a voice demand, "ALL RIGHT, WHO'S GOT MY BALLOON!?!"<BR><BR> Lucy stalks down the hall: "Just wait until I catch the person who took that balloon...Boy-o-boy!!"<BR><BR> Linus looks at the balloon in his hands.<BR><BR> Sssssss... Linus lets the air out of the balloon. It deflates.<BR><BR> He stuffs it into his mouth.<BR><BR> He closes his mouth. His cheeks puff out.<BR><BR> Lucy leans over Linus and asks, "Linus, did you see who took my balloon?!" "Mmbg," Linus answers.<BR><BR> "Well, you're just lucky you didn't ahve anything to do with it..." Lucy declares as she marches off. [PANEL 11] "WHEW!" Linus exhales, blowing air into the balloon so it looks like a bubble as he opens his mouth.<BR><BR>
I appreciate that unlike Schroeder, who was only a baby for about a year, Linus is taking his sweet time and cementing babyhood as a real era of his character
