Iron Butterfly AND Wings… Now we’re spanning two decades!
My oldest brother, eight years older than me, used to listen to “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida” constantly in his bedroom when I was about ten years old. The long version. Drove me (and the rest of my family) crazy then. But it sure brings back memories when I listen to (once in a while) nowadays._____________________________________
It was the opposite for me. My oldest sister is 13 years older than I, and when she got the album, I used to BEG her to play it AGAIN…and AGAIN… I think I listened to it more than SHE did. (While I DO have the full-length version, it was the shortened, radio-friendly version that I put on my daughter’s MP3; she knows that she can borrow the full-length one any time.
