   I’ve seen several food shows where they have food trucks rockin’ gourmet food. Might be a start of something good.

   Hey, I know that Dirk was bad but it’s always possible for a young person to realize that the path they were on is a bad one and once they have a family, they realize there is a whole other world out there. I don’t think Dirk was evil, just irresponsible and immature, trying to hold on to Toni by force. He’s moved on and grown into a mature and responsible adult. Dirk and Toni were not good together, but as more mature adults, they have gone their separate ways and built lives for themselves. Toni and Brad will be great together!

   Hey, leave Ash be. Although (and I say this with the upmost respect) he may be misguided, I truly believe his heart’s in the right place and attacking him just makes you a bully. Ash, I don’t know if you remember me, but even though we grew up on the opposite sides of the country, with, frankly, opposite political views, we really did have the same childhood. Peace out!! I’ve got your back baby!!

   After my first date with my husband, he sent me roses. It must have been at an “older” person’s recommendation as we were only 18. Anyway, after that, I worked in an office and I’d watch every other woman receiving flowers on VD and then I’d think “he’ll have something at home” but invariably, it would only be after me getting upset that he totally forgot (and I’d gotten him something) that he’d run to the grocery store and get something that was obviously the first thing he could grab. Again, we were so young and I didn’t realize that I’d bought into the “spending money on useless crap equals him loving me” mantra. It took a few years to realize that he showed his love for me all the time and we didn’t need some card/flower/candy industry to tell us how we should show our love for each other. Long story short (yes, I know it’s too late) but guys, take it easy on us ladies, because it takes awhile for us to realize that we are being manipulated by a multi billion dollar industry.

   THANK YOU!!! I thought I was making that up. Goes to show how old we are. All I remember is watching it with my mom and he was playing (a uke?) before or after his show. He was horrible and we watched it because that’s all that was on. Kids these days have no idea what it was like to turn on the TV and about 2 choices. Dark Shadows ruled though!
