Rover, I'm amazed you're not fazed by the rain. Getting wet is in my blood. My grandfather, Merganser McIntire, was a Chesapeake Bay retriever. It was said one could get water any time by wringing out his tail like a wet towel. That sounds like a big fish story to me. No, that would be my grandmother, Codfish Kate. She was part Portuguese Water dog, y'know.
His snout is too short for a purebred Labrador retreiver, although if one of his parents was pure Lab, and the other had the parentage he describes in today’s strip, it might work…
