Sadly, you can’t rescue all the worms that come out after a rain. I can understand why they come out of their flooded holes, but why do they then wiggle far onto driveways and into parking lots? Driving along rural roads, I ran over thousands and thousands of them coming from the grassy shoulders, and hated it. And you know, it wouldn’t be so bad if robins would feast on them so that it served a purpose. But the birds don’t usually get the concept of worms available for food that way.
