Excuse me, but as I parked on my street today in Berlin, I passed about ten cars including: one Porsche, 3 Mercedes, 2 BMW 5 series, an Audi TT, and an Aston Martin. This isn’t even one of the better streets in Berlin. Also financing for a car is almost unheard of here. These babies were bought with cash. If that’s socialism, they beat the capitalists at the capitalists’ own game.
Anady, excuse me, Scott, Socialism means community owned or controlled industry. Universal Healthcare doesn’t make a place socialist. Also with a GDP of $44,000 per Capita as opposed to $46,000 per Capita in the US, the healthcare system doesn’t seem to be hurting German industry.
Funny thing how the most powerful country in the world would be brought down by everything that all of the other 1st world countries have been doing for a very long time. Germany adopted Universal Healthcare in the 1880’s.
