Edda says, "Sister Steven thinks Amos and I are sinners not to marry." Diane says, "When Francis and I met, I was a sister and he was a priest…But it was as if we had been married forever and ever. Our sin wasn't falling in love, but having the hypocrisy to renounce it when it stared us full in the face." Diane says, "You and Amos may be just short of your 21st birthdays, but your souls have been wedded for a thousand years. They're so intertwined, they compress time." Edda says, "Wow......That's how you see it?" Diane says, "Yes, it is." Edda says, "He's really in arrears with the anniversary presents." Diane says, "Yes, he is."
