Edda says, "Mom, forgive my intrusion into your Brown study, but did you even say goodbye to Peter?" Juliette says, "I did not. I'm disgusted with him." Juliette says, "For the first time, I really understand my mother… but my father wants everything to stay just the way it was." Edda says, "So, you said nothing?" Juliette says, "Not entirely. I looked at him like this." Edda says, "Mom, that's the way you stared at me when I was a little girl and refused to drink my milk. It was kind of funny in a sweet way." Juliette says, "But you called it my 'reign of terror look.'" Edda says, "I didn't want to hurt your feelings."
