Edda: So I was talking with janice, who just returned form normandy with her grandfather, who fought in the d-day invasion. While we were chatting, she asked me the strangest question. Woman: What was it? Edda: she said they were in a field surrounded by hedgerows, and he was telling her about flushing out germans who entrenched themselves in the roots. woman: what was the question? Edda: well, they came upon a grave marker in the middle of the field. It had a carefully preserved helmet perched on it. Woman: The question? Edda: She said, "didn't you say your grandfather's name was earl william o'malley?
