Edda: there is? amos: The first time I saw your bra strap through your blouse at school I considered pulling it. "thwack" Edda: "thwack!"? Amos: Well, perhaps not with the exclamation mark. just "Thwack"...actually, I suppose it was more of a "snap" than a "thwack". And definitely without the exclamation mark. Perhaps more interrogative than imperative, or better, a long ellipsis, and not even a "snap", really just sort of a gentle, "fip"... Amos: Actually, it wasn't even a "Fip. I considered the lightest of tugs followed by a careful easing of tension and a softly whistled mozart theme. Edda: You hound.
