I read yesterday that some guy was arrested for a ransomware scheme that scammed $700M. They fined him $16M. Maybe I should have studied that software security stuff a little more carefully…
Way too many people are in prison for way too long. Many prisoners like to get out on work gangs, even if they pay slave wages, because it is more pleasant, and probably healthier than confinement.
