In my Jr. High, nearly 60 years ago, some kids got into a food fight. The lunch room monitor had stepped out to go to the restroom when it broke out. She stepped back in to see the mayhem. The result was everyone in the cafeteria had to clean everything up to the satisfaction of the ladies who ran the lunchroom and we all got sent home with notes to be signed by our parents. I didn’t participate in the food flinging and neither did the friends I was sitting with (we knew better) and our parents believed us when we said we hadn’t joined in.
