Adam: I'm thinking of expanding my business...of offering a line of greeting cards people can order through their computer. Laura: Sounds great, Adam. But don't the big card companies already do that? Adam: And their cards come across as big and impersonal, whereas my cards will appear honest and homemade. Laura: "Believable excuses," huh? Adam: Right! That, and I can't draw to save my life.
