Katy: Daddy, what's this here for? Adam: It's a Christmas coat tree. In hilly or unlevel areas, tradition has it that you put up a coat tree for Christmas instead of an ordinary evergreen tree. And if you do, Santa will bring all good girls and boys spiffy new coats, hats and scarfs! Katy: Yes! That cool ski jacket I want!! Ha-ha. No X-box this year! Laura: Adam, what's that old thing doing in this room?!
