Adam: I don't remember getting sick of summer when I was a kid. Laura: At least our kids' whining is getting creative. Today, they awarded me a Ph.D in "boring-ology". I think Nick made the diploma. It was suspiciously sticky. Adam: I saw that on the fridge. Congrats.
I read a lot of books I wouldn’t have read, when I was bored, but didn’t feel like working. (My parents were firm believers in child labor.) We had lots of books on our shelves, and I spent my small allowance buying more. Between libraries & garage sales, it doesn’t take much money to have interesting stuff to read.
