Adam: Let's go kids! Trick-or-treating is underfoot! Kids in background: My wig is missing! I can't find my utility belt! My cape is ripped! Adam: Sigh. Reminds me so much of being a boy when my dad was getting ready for work.
“Underfoot?” I thought that meant in somebody’s way. Doesn’t Adam mean “under way” or “afoot”? I know, awfully picky for so early in the morning.
