Katy; Okay, momma. I've finished my santa list. Laura; OMG! That's huge! Katy; Oh, sorry. That's just a phone book I used so I could reach the stamps. Laura; Phew! Katy; Here's my list. Now let's get to the post office, pronto! Laura; Okay. And we'll need to stop by the bank on the way to get a loan to pay for the postage.

A list as big as the phone book would have been terrible, the real list suggests the need for a padded room and lots of drugs.

Dude, it’s a comic strip. You know, comedic exaggeration and all that?
davidh48 about 12 years ago
Easy. Santa gave your list to kiva.org. It’s sort of like helping hardworking people not starve to death. AND, you’ll like yourself for days afterwards.

If mom needs a loan to buy postage to send this list (which, after all, is not so heavy that a little girl couldn’t carry it pretty easily), did she really have money even for one present?

Katy already put the stamps on. I think we are going to be surprised by what she asked for. ( not things for herself?)
