It is very easy to get “addicted” in some way to a game, video or otherwise. I knew people that were completely addicted to World of Warcraft, or Counterstrike, or Age of Empires, or Ping Pong, or Chess. I actually considered becoming a Chess Addict, studying all day and traveling to far-away tournaments, but I knew it would consume me entirely if I did, so I remained a happy amateur.
