Katy: Mom said to bring you the heating pad. Adam: Bueno! Happy time! Katy: Um...okay. Adam: Warmy warmth. Back's friend. You're my sunshine, sweetie. My hoppy noppy floppy. Katy: What pills did you give him, anyway? Laura: Two Advils and a tic tac, but don't tell him that.
Are you kidding? Two Advil will put me down faster than two Vicodin or Percoset. I dunno why, but they do. Drag me right down and put me to sleep. One is okay. Two? Like taking sleeping pills, the prescription kind. Doc says it happens in a percentage of (mainly) men who are otherwise resistant to narcotics, as I am. A large dose of Advil or Naproxen will do it, but morphine derivatives act like Naproxen does on other folk, taking the pain away but not making me groggy.
