Adam: Clayton and I are going to stock up on Halloween candy. Laura: What? Halloween is ten days away. Adam: The news is warning of massive trick-or-treating and candy shortages! Clayton: TP'ing could be rampant! Adam: We're practicing our right to bear candy! Clayton: Mountains of it. Laura: Sigh.
With Laura out of work and Adam working sporadically, stocking up on “mountains” of candy doesn’t make a lot of economical sense but, then again, it’s Halloween!
