Had the same thing but I remember the sub being yellow, and yes both the sub and the divers were powered by baking soda.

I loved the neat stuff that came in Post boxes as well as Nabisco’s. I had a fleet of 1960 Plymouths in all the body styles and most of the colours.Nabisco used to put Sky King figures in, I believe, Rice Honeys. I think I also got a lot of dinosaurs from them. I still have those and they’ll go to my grandson, the future paleontologist.

I still have my old grey PT boat I sent for from a box of breakfast food that runs on Alka-seltzer tablets. Thebubbles come out the bottom and powers it along the water.
