    Fake blood is usually edible. Often it involves chocolat. Corn syrup, chocolate syrup, corn starch and red food dye are usually involved. For extra fun, add some Tabasco™ sauce.

    I think I said this in another strip but my son hates when people use the word, “treat” for non-edible things. His speech therapist offered him a treat if he got his assignment right. When he successfully completed it, he was anticipating candy or a cupcake or something yummy and she gave him a small plastic toy. He was grateful but he said his tummy wasn’t happy. lol
