Katy: What'd you get mom for Valentine's Day? Adam: Well, we're tightening our belts this year... So we decided to just get each other cards. Katy: Cards?? That's it? Adam: Well...yeah. Katy: That's it. Romance is dead. Adam: No, no. Broke, maybe. But still breathing.
Hubby and I avoid going to restaurant on Big Days. We’ll go out one day later in the week – maybe after church next Sunday. Same with Mother’s Day and the like.
