Heard about a group of pranksters who pulled off group stunts. One night they walked into a bar and singled out a random guy for a surprise birthday party complete with balloons, presents, cake and lots of “friends”. They trickled in as one would expect a party to evolve in a public place and greeted the mark as though he were an old friend. He was not amused. it scarred him. The social pressure of people convinced he was someone he was not, born on a day he wasn’t. He tried to play along for awhile but started to freak out. A bit like finding yourself in a Twilight Zone episode where everyone knows who you are but you, and without the pay or residuals.
Simple sleight of hand tricks are great for this. I learned a simple trick for slight hand tying a knot in a rope. You challenge a victim to follow your actions. You get the knot and they don’t. After several tries, several someone elses innocently come by that you have previously taught the trick and they get the knot and your victim doesn’t.
humor aside, this is a really bad idea… children mistrust parents enough without any extra evidence. (if you can’t trust someone in simple situations, how can you trust them in complex situations?)
Siblings can prank each other as it’s rather expected, but children need to be able to trust their parents unconditionally. Time to end this run and have his parents apologize to Clayton.

Can Nick talk yet? If he’s in on it then this conspiracy is not a theory.

I guess Nick has Favorite Son status.

If I remember right, Carlton is a brand of cigarette
Keep this up and the boy will take up smoking to calm his nerves

No fair bringing mom into the prank. Your mom is the one person in life you can trust to always get your back.

This is hard for me to believe Laura’s in on this. I thought she’d put a stop to this.

Clayton will get his own back when the bills for therapy start flowing in.

This is easy to solve… just open the underwear drawer and show them the name stitched into the band.

I think this is Adam@home’s funniest story arc since he got stuck in the Godzilla costume a few years back…
