Adam wanted it to be Dada, of course. Then he could have had bragging rights.

“Doggie Gumbo. Dada dumbo.”

Ya couldn’t throw the old man a bone, could ya?!? But, you would do it for the dog, though!!!

I KNEW Adam would be PO’d!! I hope Laura would accept the fact graciously.

Love how nice Clayton is to his baby brother. Maybe he will do a picture book starring Nick.

That’s what you get when you leave the baby in the basement for so long.

He knows who the important people are in his life.

Ouch. Though in truth, how often does he really see DaDa. Besides, Gumbo is about the only one on at his altitude in the whole house.

Of COURSE he said Gumbo. Nick and Gumbo hang out together all the time. That’s why you rarely see them in the regular strip.

He went with who he knows.

My kids all said “Dada” first. Really ticked off my wife.

The pooch appreciates it.
