Considering what’s out there, we are eternally grateful our girls preferred country music. Middle kid even married a wonderful guy who plays with one of the big country music people. It’s odd to hear her refer to Reba or Carrie or Clint so casually.
You know, now that I think about it, I haven’t heard any Tex Ritter or Pattsy Cline in to long. Jeannie C Riley has fallen off my radar to. I use to earworm “Harper Valley PTA” once a week or so for a while there.
