1st, everyone is different. Some people need more water, and some people need less.
2nd, A lot of the water you consume comes from the food you eat. Unless you’re choking down nothing but dehydrated food and dry powders all day long, you’re consuming water even without drinking. The real rule of thumb is to drink when you’re thirsty and don’t worry about it too much if you’re not thirsty.
If you drink to much water in a certain period of time you could die from water poisoning. The body can only process so much water at a time. Recently a little kid die from this condition. Is better to drink electrolite fluids like gatorade every certain time in the a day.
