In the operating theatre, surgeons, although they think that they are superior beings, are regarded as mere pompous carpenters and plumbers by more intelligent staff members.

Columnist. Novelist. Screenwriter. Etcetera, etcetera. Disappointing to see that there are still those who think the writing profession does not count as a “real job”.

Clown sounds about right!

Housekeeper? Dishwasher? Walmart Greeter?

Why not a barrister??

He’d have better odds at becoming a sturgeon than a surgeon.

Perhaps he should be an editor.

Go with your strengths. Coffee tester, mattress tester.

Become your wife’s assistant.

Since he loves coffee so much he should get a job at the coffee shop. Do what you love and it won’t seem like work, plus all the coffee you can drink.

Look for a common thread…. People are scared to meet each of those.

He is definitely qualified to be a clown.
