Eatgin pilgrims is a grim pill to swallow. And if Ben Franklin had had his way, the turkey would be the national bird, which seems appropriate in today’s political climate.

Slow pilgrims? Yeah, that’s it. Get rid of the illegal immigrants one way or the other.

Need to restudy your history. The first Thanksgiving in what is now the U.S. was in Florida. No “Pilgrims” (not what they called themselves), only Spanish and locals. The next eventful Thanksgiving was in Jamestown. Later there was the celebration in Plymouth in 1621 but that was actually a harvest festival. A Thanksiving there didn’t happen for another couple of years.
